Wonderful farmhouse with large park and panoramic, heated swimming pool, located in a hilly position in the countryside of Volterra, along the ancient Strada dell’Olio e del Vino. It can accommodate up to 20 people, has 9 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.

Originally an ancient Pisan watchtower, it is located in a hillside position in the beautiful countryside of Volterra, along the ancient Strada dell’Olio e del Vino (Oil and Wine Road) that reaches as far as San Gimignano.
The farmhouse is surrounded by a large park characterized by vast expanses of wheat, olive groves, lawn, colorful flowers, hedges and corner dedicated to aromatic plants.

There are several lounge areas within the park where you can relax while sipping a good glass of wine.

Outdoor spaces are graced by a beautiful panoramic, rectangular-shaped swimming pool (6 x 15 m), heated on request (at an extra cost), open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October. Only 10 meters away from the villa, the pool has: a spacious solarium with umbrellas and sunbeds; indoor lighting; and a Roman staircase to enter the water.

Also available to guests are an uncovered parking lot and a large panoramic terrace from which a breathtaking 360-degree view of the Tuscan landscape can be admired. The terrace is furnished with sofas, armchairs, dining table and barbecue.

Furnished in an elegant style with travertine floors and design elements, the property is spread over 4 floors and can accommodate up to 20 people, has 9 bedrooms (including 6 doubles and 3 twins with divisible beds) and 10 bathrooms (including 9 ensuite with shower and 1 with shower).
Wifi and air conditioning in all rooms.
Pets are allowed upon request at an extra cost.

Ground floor:
The ground floor features large opening windows that provide access to the pool and garden. The main entrance leads to a spacious open space that includes: the living area with sofas, TV corner, dining area with 2 tables for 10 people each, a bright professional kitchen (equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, refrigerator, and toaster), and a gaming area (with table soccer and ping-pong table). Concluding the floor is a bathroom with a shower also for use by the pool.

Second floor:
The second floor, reached by an internal staircase, consists of 4 suites, all with bathrooms with showers and independent access (two suites have access on the upper tergal side of the villa).
Also on this level is the beautiful covered rooftop terrace and a living room with a double sofa bed.

Second floor:
From the rooftop terrace, climbing the stairs leads to the second floor where there are 4 more suites with bathrooms (with showers).

Third floor:
Continuing up the stairs we arrive at the top floor, located inside the tower where we find a bathroom with shower and a spacious double bedroom with a unique view of the Tuscan countryside.

Villa la Volta is located in the beautiful countryside of Volterra, an ancient medieval town famous for its imposing Etruscan walls. The property is located along the ancient Strada del Vino e dell’Olio (Wine and Oil Road), in a very quiet position and surrounded by the typical hilly landscape that surrounds Volterra.

Only 10 minutes by car you can reach the restaurants, stores and cafes of the center, as well as a tennis club with a soccer field and an equestrian center, while about 30-40 minutes away are the Castelfalfi Golf Club, San Gimignano (with its beautiful towers) and the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico (a natural amphitheater, set in the beautiful setting of the Lajatico hills, where every year Andrea Bocelli organizes a major musical event, inviting famous singers from Italy and elsewhere).

For those who intend to go to the sea, the nearest seaside resorts are: Cecina (47 km), Vada (53 km) and Rosignano Marittimo (58 km) with its white beaches.
The famous Tuscan art cities (Pisa, Florence, Siena, Lucca) are easily reached by car.
