Immersed in centuries old olive groves (from which the owner produces a fantastic strongly flavoured spicy olive oil), those who appreciate beautiful landscaping will love the garden of the villa designed by famous Luciano Giubbilei, one of the few landscape artists to have ever won two Gold Medals at London’s Chelsea Flower Show!

The equally stylish pool is perfectly situated below the house and from there one can gaze across the Tuscan hills whilst relaxing with a good book and a fine glass of wine.

Magnificent pergola area with its massive travertine marble table to seat 18 people – a heavenly al fresco dining area indeed where many long, lazy lunches and dinners into the late evening can be enjoyed as one listens to the crickets and time literally stands still.

The larger living room enjoys spectacular views of the countryside with natural furnishings and a high beamed ceiling, while the smaller, cozier living room features finely carved 18th-century panels from a hotel particulier in Paris and lively furnishings and a fireplace. The larger dining room is more formal with a magnificent long table for 16 people with a recycled copper surface and a large artwork by Luca Pignatelli, while the smaller dining room lends itself to the winter months with a large fireplace and a view of the holm oak forest and also a fabulous wine cellar carved out of tuff that can be glimpsed through a large glass window.

Professional kitchen is all steel and state of the art with all the equipment.

Each of the bedrooms has been individually decorated and furnished and enjoys its own name from the various contrade of Siena.

Just in front of the main house, guests will love the sensational, spacious and romantic hideaway of the annex. Located on two floors, you walk into the magnificent living room and library.

Downstairs is the large double bedroom decorated in dust blue and olive green with far reaching views across the valley and superb ensuite shower room.

Just five minutes in the car to Siena, it could not be better placed for exploring Tuscany be it south to Val d’Orcia , north to Chianti and Florence or west to the Maremma and the umbrella pine lined sandy beaches of the southern Tuscan coast.
